Introduction to 'Planting Hope' Academy
This is more than just an Academy—it's a mission, to lead and guide people from around the world to a better understanding of God's Word and of how to turn your faith in God into a Godly lifestyle.
As a Christian author, evangelist, Pastor, educator, and advocate for restorative justice and social equality, I have spent decades ministering in churches, prisons, lecture halls, and classrooms—wherever there are hearts in need of hope, Godly wisdom, and spiritual or moral guidance. Whether mentoring youth, guiding families and couples, comforting the broken-hearted, speaking common sense into the incarcerated, supporting the addicted, confronting the injustices in society or spreading the Message of the Gospel to the lost, my mission has always been the same: to lead people into a deeper and more meaningful understanding of God’s Word and the Truth of the love and and redemptive power through Jesus Christ.
I’ve launched this platform not to build fame or fortune—but to build lives and to plant hope into the hearts and minds of the millions of people across the world that seek answers not in wordviews, false narratives or wayward ideologies but in the Truth of the Word of God.
Through this Substack platform, I aim to share:
* Weekly devotions, notes, articles, and teachings rooted in Scripture and sound biblical doctrine
* Offering honest reflections on societal issues, having a healthy marriage, parenting, spiritual leadership, building a Word-based, Spirit-led church, forgiveness, spiritual warfare and numerous other key topics relating to everyday life as a child of God
* Insights drawn from decades of ministry, biblical study, and my journey of trials and tribulations, failures and successes—offered to strengthen your walk with God, your family and friends, and your community
* And occasional updates on my books, community and ministry projects, and very importantly, on the outreach efforts that I undertake, should you wish to support or get involved
This work, or calling I should say, has never been about profit—but it does come at a cost. Writing, publishing, and maintaining a ministry of “planting hope,” whether in word or deed, takes time, energy, and resources. If you find value in what I share here, I humbly invite you to subscribe, support, or share this space with others. Whether through a paid subscription or simply by spreading the word, you’ll be partnering with me in this Kingdom labour of love, commitment and duty.
Your subscription, tithes, offerings and donations will not only help me in producing better quality content but, most importantly, will go towards helping hundreds and hopefully thousands of struggling widows, orphans, the elderly and disabled across our nation. Many of whom have been marginalised and living on the fringes of society due to unemployment, drug or alcohol addiction, lack of proper education, poverty, inequality, and so many other societal issues and disparities.
Let us walk together, plant hope together and encourage one another—guided by faith, anchored in truth, and moved by compassion and the love of God.
Thank you for being here. I look forward to growing with you, learning with you, and serving you in whatever capacity God would lead and guide me to do so. You can also contact me via email: michaelgobel14@gmail.com if you wish to share a story, message, or word of encouragement.
In Christ’s Service,
